When are you open?

After Hours Pediatrics Urgent Care is open every day of the year. Our offices located in Brandon and New Port Richey are open weekdays and weekends from 1 pm to 11 pm. Our offices in North Tampa and Palm Harbor are open weekdays from 5 pm to 11 pm and weekends from 1 pm to 11 pm. Our South Tampa office is open 3 pm to 9 pm on weekdays and weekends from 1 pm to 11 pm. Our offices in Lake Worth and Oakland Park are open weekdays and weekends from 1 pm to 11 pm. Our Orlando, Oviedo and St. Petersburg locations are open 7 days a week 12 pm to 8 pm. Our Largo offices are open weekdays 6 pm – 10 pm and weekends 12 pm – 6 pm.

Are you open on holidays?

Yes, we are open most holidays. We will post our holiday hours 1-week prior to the holiday.

Do I need an appointment?

All of our services are offered on a walk-in basis. We do not accept appointments; however you can pre-register online to expedite your visit.

What is the age range of children you see?

We treat children from newborns through 21 years of age.

What services do you provide?

Our offices provide pediatric urgent care services with treatment for flu, broken bones, cuts, burns, injuries, stitches and more.  Visit our Services section for more.

How about follow-up care?

After Hours Pediatrics faxes a report of the visit to your child’s physician on the same day.  So when you make a follow-up appointment with your child’s doctor, a copy of the care received at AHP will already be there for the doctor to review.

What if my child’s problem requires hospitalization?

You will be referred to the emergency department if our pediatrician determines that your child requires hospital care.

Do you accept my insurance?

We work with most insurance carriers. Visit our insurance section for a complete list of insurance plans we accept. If your insurance company is not listed here, we are not under contract with them. However, you may still bring your child here for care on a fee-for-service (self-pay) basis. Our self-pay rate is an all-inclusive rate $185. If you have any questions, please contact our office for assistance.

What payment do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks, Apple Pay and cash. At the time of your visit, you will be expected to pay co-pays, deductibles and payment for any services not covered by your insurance. We also see patients on a self-pay or fee basis.
